515- Fish Soup / حساء السمك
150 grams of white fish, cut into pieces
100 grams of shrimp
A small package of Chinese vermicelli
A small handful of black mushroom
2 cloves garlic
A small head of ginger
2 bay leaves
A small bunch of parsley
1 celery stick
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
500 ml of water
1- Place the chinese vermicelli and black mushrooms in bowls (separately) and cover with boiling water. Reserve for 5 minutes then drain and cut the mushrooms into small pieces.
2- Finely chop the onion and peel and grate the carrot, ginger, and garlic.
3- Place them as well as white fish, bay leaves, bunch of parsley, celery stick, salt, and pepper in a pot. Cover with 500 ml of water. Let it cook for 20 minutes.
4- Add shrimps, vermicelli and black mushrooms. Let cook for 5 minutes until the shrimps are well cooked.
5- Remove parsley and celery right before serving.
