878- Date Jam / مربى التمر
250 grams (9 oz) dates
120 milliliters (1/2 cup) orange juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon orange blossom water
1- Pit the dates then cut them into small cubes.
2- In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, add the dates, orange juice, and cinnamon.
3- Bring everything to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook while mashing the dates with a wooden spoon until the dates absorb the liquid and a smooth mixture is obtained.
4- Once the date mixture is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Add the orange blossom water and mix.
5- Place the date jam in a glass jar and set it aside to cool down.
6- Store the date jam in the fridge for up to 1 month.
