Ingredients :
350g (13 ounces) pumpkin, peeled and diced
1 orange, peeled and chopped
1 lemon, peeled and chopped
1 banana, peeled and chopped
400ml (1 3/4 cups) water
3 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Directions :
1- Place the pumpkin in a pot filled with water. Bring the water to a boil, then cook for 15 minutes or until the pumpkin is soft.
2- Strain the pumpkin and reserve 100ml (1/2 cup) of the cooking water.
3- Place the pumpkin and the fruit in a blender.
4- Add the honey, water and pumpkin cooking water, then blend until smooth.
5- Strain the smoothie, then place it in a jar. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and enjoy cold!
