Ingredients :
For the chermoula shrimp
18 grey shrimps, peeled and deveined
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon chopped coriander and parsley
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the yogurt sauce
2 tablespoons plain unsweetened yogurt
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
For serving
6 Msemen
2 tomatoes, cut into half circles
1 cucumber, sliced thinly
6 lettuce leaves
Directions :
Step 1: Preparing the shrimp with charmoula
1- Place the shrimp and the remaining ingredients in a bowl, mix to combine, then set aside for 5 minutes.
2- Heat up a pan over medium heat, add the shrimp, then cook for 4 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Step 2: Preparing the yogurt sauce
3- Whisk together the ingredients for the sauce, then set aside.
Step 3: Serving the shrimp khati rolls
4- Place the msemen on your work surface, then add lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers.
5- Top with the cooked shrimp and yogurt sauce, then roll the msemen and serve.
