Very easy

Ingredients :

  • 500 grams of date paste (refer to video on how to make it)
  • Coating (melted chocolate, chocolate confetti, chopped nuts, etc.)

Directions :

1- The date paste needs to be cold. If it is warm you wont be able to shape it. Refer to my video on how to make date paste. Shape the date paste into small balls.
2- Melt dark chocolate in a bain marie, where you place the chocolate in a bowl on top of boiling water. Using a kitchen knife, chop unsalted toasted almonds.
3- Roll the date balls in the chopped almonds, gently press on the nuts when rolling the balls. You can also roll the dates in chocolate confetti, or melted chocolate.
4- Place the date truffles in a baking pan covered with wax paper and let them cool down in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.
5- Once cooled down, place the date truffles in little paper cups and serve!
Enjoy!
