Hi Alia,
Thank you for great recipe! I just made this soup and I absolutely love it. I only add some little lemon juice. My only question is how to cook it without cover after already blended? It was making huge bubbles and all my kitchen was a mess so I didnt cook anymore. Thank you.
Finally! It's hard to find the really basic red lentil soup recipe. Most online recipes are too fancy with cinnamon, saffron, etc.
Im happy to find this recipe of soup. One time i cooked by another recipe from lebanease kitchen, but it was spicy but very very delicious. My husband remembers his grandmother, she cooked oftenly for him this soup:) thx Alia
great soup indeed. my hubby is from palestine which is famous for this soup ( shorabat 3adas ) they also add Knoor/maggie to it and it tastes even better.
