  • [Salty] Madjool Dates
  • [Salty] Goat Cheese
  • [Salty] Chives
  • [Salty] Walnuts
  • [Almond Paste] 1 pound of raw almonds
  • [Almond Paste] 8 oz of sugar
  • [Almond Paste] 1 teaspoon of orange blossom water
  • [Almond Paste] 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • [Almond Paste] 4 tablespoons of butter
  • [Sweet] Madjool Dates
  • [Sweet] Walnuts
  • [Sweet] Dark Chocolate

Directions

  1. Salty Recipe:

    1- Chop the chives and the walnuts.
    2- Mix the chives and walnuts with the goat cheese.
    3- Pit the dates and stuff them with the cheese mixture.

  2. Almond Paste Recipe:

    1-  The first step is to remove the almond skin. Boil water then pour it on the almonds and let them sit for few minutes. 
    2- Strain the almonds from the water, place them on a towel, and rub them energetically with the towel. The skin of the almonds will be removed with the friction.
    3- Note: if the almonds dry out, place them back in the hot water to sfoten the skin.
    4- Mix the almonds, melted butter, sugar, orange blossom water, and cinnamon in a grinder until you get a smooth almond paste.
  3. Sweet Recipe:

    1- Pit the dates and stuff them with the almond paste. Add a walnut in the middle of the stuffed date.
    2- Melt the chocolate. Dip the stuffed dates in the chocolate.
    3- Chill the dates in the fridge until the chocolate becomes hard. Once they cool down, you can decorate the dates with edible foil sheet or glitter.

    How do I store these after adding grounded nuts with dates,
    I assumed refrigerating is the best

      place them in a air-tight container then place the container in the fridge.

      If it's cheese around 1 week, if it's almond paste, 1 month.

    If I use store bought ground almond, how many cups would it be?

      oh not sure - I have never made almond paste with store ground almond. I always use whole fresh almonds, the flavors will be much better!
