Easy

Ingredients :

  • 3 cabbage leaves
  • 1/4 medium sized onion
  • 6 thin slices of carrot
  • 4 baby corns
  • A few leaves of Chinese Kale (or spinach)
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon white ground pepper

Directions :

Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients
First, cut the vegetables into medium sized cubes (cabbage leaves, kale, onion, tomatoes, etc.). For the hard vegetables like carrots, you should thinly slice them.

Step 2: Cooking the Vegetables
1- Place all the vegetables in the same plate, add the crushed garlic, light brown sugar, oyster sauce, and light soy sauce!
2- Drizzle vegetable oil to a pan and heat it up on medium heat for a few seconds. Now add the vegetables!
3- With your spatula, mix them well, and also give them a nice massage with the back of the spatula while stirring. This will help blend all the flavors!
Note: Get creative with this recipe – use any vegetable of your choice as long as they are leafy, cook quickly, or are thinly sliced.
4- Stir-fry for 5 minutes, and that’s it!!! Really, we are done! Serve on a plate and sprinkle some white ground pepper on top! You can also add some chopped herbs like fresh cilantro or basil!
Note: Do not overcook the vegetables, they should still have some crunch in them!

Bon appetite!
