390 – Homemade Lemonade / عصير الليمون
- 1 ½ cups (300 grams) sugar
- 1 ½ cups (300 ml) water
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 ½ cups (300 ml) fresh lemon juice
- Fresh orange juice, orange blossom water, strawberry syrup, fresh mint leaves, etc.
MAKING LEMONADE CONCENTRATE
1- In a sauce pan, cook on medium heat water and sugar until it reaches a boiling point.
2- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add lemon zest and the fresh lemon juice to the sugar syrup.
3- Pour the lemonade syrup into a bottle. Cover and cool in the refrigerator.
Note: you can keep in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 weeks.
1- Classic lemonade: 1 cup of lemonade concentrate + 4 cups water + ice + fresh mint leaves
2- Orange lemonade: 1 cup of lemonade concentrate + 3 cups water + 1 cup orange juice + 1 teaspoon orange blossom water + ice
3- Strawberry lemonade: 1 cup of lemonade concentrate + 4 cups water + strawberry syrup + ice
