619- Oatmeal Truffles / كرات الشوكولاتة بالشوفان

Ingredients

80 grams (1 cup) rolled oats
12 dates, pitted
80 grams (2.8 oz) raw unsalted almonds
20 grams (3 tablespoons) cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
2 tablespoons water

Directions

1- Place the dates in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Let soak for 15 minutes.
2- In a food processor, place the almonds and oats. Mix into a fine powder.

3- Drain the dates from the water and add them to the food processor as well as the cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and water. Mix until you get a smooth dough.


4- Place the dough in a bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

5- Roll small ball with the dough, serve as is or cover with unsweetened dry grated coconut or unsweetened cocoa powder.
