666- Light Gluten-free Harira / حريرة خفيفة خالية من الغلوتين

Ingredients

For the meat mix:
50 grams (1.76 oz) beef, cut into cubes
70 grams (1/3 cup) chickpeas, placed in water overnight
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 tablespoon butter
50 grams (1/4 cup) of lentils
1 liter water

For the vegetable mix:
1 carrot, cut into cubes
1 potato, cut into cubes
1 small onion, quartered
1/4 white cabbage, sliced

For the tomato mix:
1 box Tomato Pulp Carrefour
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 tablespoons chopped coriander
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 liter (4 cups) water

Other:
50 grams (1/4 cup) Whole Grain Rice Carrefour
2 tablespoons tomato paste

Directions

Step 1: Prepare the meat and vegetables mixture
1- In a casserole dish over medium heat, place the chickpeas, the meat, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and 1 tablespoon butter. Mix.
2- Put the chopped vegetables in a cooking basket. Place it in the casserole over chickpeas and meat.
3- Cover with 1 liter of water, close the pan and cook for 20 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and well cooked.
4- Open the casserole, remove the cooking basket, then add the lentils to the casserole. Close it again and cook for 15 minutes until the lentils are cooked.
5- Place the vegetables in a bowl and mix them with a blender until you get a smooth puree.

Step 2: Prepare the tomato mixture
6- In a second pot, pour the olive oil, then add the box of Tomato Pulp Carrefour, 1 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, coriander, parsley and celery. Cover with 1 liter of water. Place the pot on medium heat.
7- Bring to a boil, then add the rice. Mix and cook for 10 minutes while the vermicelli is cooking.

Step 3: Mix everything
8- In the pot containing the tomato mixture, add the tomato paste, the vegetable purée and the chickpeas, meat and lentils mixture. Mix and cook together for 5 minutes. Serve hot!
