720- Date Jam / مربى التمر

Ingredients

250 grams (9 oz.) dates (if possible Medjoul dates)

120 ml (1/2 cup) orange juice

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

A pinch of ground cloves

1 teaspoon orange blossom water

Directions

1- Pit the dates then cut them into small cubes

2- In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, add the dates, orange juice, cinnamon, clove, and honey

3- Bring everything to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook while mashing the dates with a wooden spoon until the dates absorbs the liquid and you get a smooth mixture

4- Once the mixture is cooked, remove from the heat, add the orange blossom water and mix

5- Place the date jam in a glass jar and set aside to cool down

6- Store the date jam in the fridge for up to 1 month
