895- Whole Wheat Pizza Dough / عجينة البيتزا بدقيق القمح الكامل
1 large pizza dough
250 grams (1 1/2 cups) whole wheat flour
200 grams (7 oz) plain yogurt, unsweetened
4 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1- In a large bowl, add the flour, plain yogurt, water, baking powder, and salt.
2- Mix all the ingredients together using a wooden spoon or your hands until a smooth dough is formed. This dough does not need to rest, you can use it immediately.
3- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a medium thickness.
4- You can keep the pizza dough in the form of a large cirle or you can cut it into small circles using a cookie cutter.
5- Place the shaped dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Prick the dough all over with a fork. Then lightly brush it with water.
6- Bake the pizza dough in a preheated oven at 200°C / 392°F For 12 minutes.
7- Top the pizza dough with the cooked filling of your choice (caramelized onions, tomato sauce, cheese, etc.), then bake again for a few minutes until set. Serve immediately.
