400 – Moroccan Carrot Orange Salad / سلطة الجزر و البرتقال
- 2 oranges
- 2 carrots (grated)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp orange blossom water
- 1 tbsp white sugar (to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Ground cinnamon (optional)
1- First, prepare some fresh orange juice.
2- Peel the carrots and grate them into very fine or medium strands – whatever you prefer
3- In a large bowl, place the grated carrots; add the orange juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, orange blossom water, pinch of salt, and sugar. Mix.
4- Taste and adjust ingredients as desired.
5- Refrigerate the salad for 30 minutes before serving.
6- Don’t forget to sprinkle a bit of ground cinnamon before enjoying it
