779- Carrot and Turmeric Juice / عصير الجزر والكركم
4 carrots, peeled and grated
5 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and cut into chunks
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar (optional)
4 tablespoons warm water
1- Juice the oranges and lemons and place the juice in a large jar.
2- Add the grated carrots and ground turmeric.
3- Add the ginger pieces. Note: for a stronger flavor, cover the jar with a plastic wrap, and let steep for a couple of hours in the refrigerator before using.
4- In a small bowl, mix together the honey and warm water with a spoon until well combined.
5- In a food processor, add the orange and carrot mixture, honey mixture, and mix all together until well combined.
6- Strain the juice to obtain a smoother texture.
7- Serve the carrot and turmeric juice cold with ice cubes if desired.
