856- Strawberry & Mozzarella Salad with Chocolate Vinaigrette / سلطة الفراولة والموزاريلا بصلصة الشوكولاتة
For the salad:
300 grams (10.5 oz) spring mix (lettuce, spinach, arugula, basil)
100 grams (3.5 oz) strawberries, sliced
80 grams (2.8 oz) cherry tomatoes, cut into quarters
150 grams (5.2 oz) small mozzarella balls, cut into quarters
70 grams (2.4 oz) dark chocolate chips (72 %)
50 grams (1/2 cup) walnuts, roughly chopped
For the sauce:
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
30 milliliters (1/4 cup) olive oil
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon dried chives
Salt and pepper, to taste
1- To prepare the sauce, in a separate bowl, add the balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, olive oil, honey, dried chives, cacao powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk all the ingredients until well combined.
2- On a serving plate, place the spring mix, add strawberries slices, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, chocolate chips, walnuts, and drizzle the sauce over the salad. Make sure to not mixing the salad a lot so the ingredients keep their bright colors and not take on the brown color of the chocolate sauce.
3- Garnish with extra dried chives if desired and serve immediately.
