264 – Traditional Garlic Shrimp / الجمبري التقليدي الثوم
- 1 pound (450 grams) large shrimp
- 6 garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
- Chili pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Chopped parsley
- Lemon wedges & sliced baguette
1- Heat olive oil in a cazuela (clay cooking dish) or saute pan.
2- Add garlic and chili pepper. Cook for a minute.
3- Salt and pepper the shrimp.
4- Add the shrimp, cook 2 minutes each side until the shrimp becomes pink. Add salt and pepper to taste.
5- If cooked in a cazuela you can serve directly, otherwise, move to a serving dish.
6- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges and sliced baguette.
