574- Banana with Coconut Caramel / موز بكاراميل جوز الهند


2 small bananas
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
brown sugar
Optional: vanilla ice cream


1- On medium heat, melt butter in a saucepan.
2- Add the bananas to the saucepan and fry for a few minutes on both sides until they get a light golden brown color.
3- Transfer the bananas into a separate plate, and using the back of a spoon, smash the bananas a bit to flatten them.
4- Now let’s make the caramel. In the same pan, pour the coconut milk, honey, brown sugar, ground turmeric, and salt.
5- Mix well and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until becomes thick.
6- Pour the coconut sauce over the bananas and serve immediately.
Tip: For a grand finale, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This dessert is to die for! Bon appetit!
