707- Spicy Hot Chocolate / شوكولاتة ساخنة حارة
100 grams (3.5 oz.) dark chocolate
350 ml (1 1/2 cup) milk
150 ml (2/3 cup) heavy cream
2 tablespoons (25 grams) light brown sugar
1 tablespoon (7 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of cayenne pepper
A pinch of salt
Marshmallows for decoration
1- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the milk, heavy cream, light brown sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until all the ingredients are well combined.
2- Heat the milk mixture until it reaches a boiling point. Meanwhile, chop the dark chocolate.
3- Add the dark chocolate to the milk and whisk until it completely dissolves.
4- Cook on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes while stirring with a spatula until the hot chocolate thickens.
5- Serve hot with marshmallows.
